How To Prepare Tea Instructions:

Herbal medicine is most effective when the leaves are fresh. It's important to remain consistent once you begin drinking the teas. Herbs are less effective when not being consumed properly. Please avoid using synthetic drugs, dairy, sugar, processed meats, junk foods, alcohol, smoking (yes this includes marijuana). The act of smoking alone puts oil in the lungs, dehydrates the body, irritates your organs and destroys your melanin.

1). Bring 8 oz of spring water to a boil in a stainless steal pot or a glass tea kettle. We recommend using Mountain Valley Spring Water which can be found at your local whole foods or on go online.

2). Once the water starts to boil, turn off heat to maintain the nutritional value of the herbs. Add 1 teaspoon of the tea to the water and leave tea in the water to steep for 10-30 minutes.

3). Carefully strain tea into a glass jar (the water may be hot). Please do not use honey, nor sugar in the teas. Organic key limes in the teas are acceptable. These teas are meant to bring the body back into balance. It’s important to take them in their natural state. We HIGHLY suggest drinking the teas at room temperature. Avoid drinking hot or cold tea, this takes unnecessary energy from the body.

4). Speak healing into your tea before drinking. Affirm and declare that this tea is healing your body and you are the healthiest that you have ever been. Water has a consciousness and we are made up of about 78% water. Your words are powerful.

Here are some reminders:

  • Store jars in a cool dark place to maintain the effectiveness of the teas.
  • Only drink teas at room temperature
  • if you have more than one tea, drink one tea at a time. Finish the tea completely before moving to the next tea.
  • Use Glass, not plastic
  • Refrigerate tea up to 48 hours before discarding
  • Do not drink blood purification wellness tea with an IUD or if you are on blood thinners.
  • Use the African Bio-mineral Balance food guide which increases the effectiveness of the herbal teas.

These wildcrafted herbs are here to assist in your healing journey. Your healing comes from God. The body is capable of healing itself in the right environment. Listen to your body. All of your life your organs have been showing up for you without you even thinking about it, so its great that you are showing your body the love that it needs.

Bonus- Sun Tea is made by putting herbs in water, then placing them in the sun (cover pot) for several hours. The sun steeps the herbs. Strain the herbs while warm and drink three or more cups daily. Herbs can be combined. - Llaila O. Afrika

How to Drink for Proper Nutrition:

It takes a lot for the body to digest a meal with a drink at the same time and often causes indigestion. When food is wash down with a drink it can’t properly carry nutrients to the cells and when the food is collided in the stomach with the liquid it creates havoc. We recommend drinking 30min, but preferably 1 hour, before a meal and 45 minutes - 1 hour after a meal.

Gulped liquids rushes the system, and your body doesn't have time to replenish the system & cleanse on a cellular level. Sipping gives you full benefits of the drink. When drinking the necessary amounts of liquids, your body feels less hungry because your cells are being nourished. If not, organs will suffer. Aside from herbal teas, organic juices & coconut water, we suggest drinking 24 oz of alkaline water daily.

As stated above, over 78% of the body is made up of water so most times lower back pain can be linked to the kidneys from lack of hydration. It’s important to note that cold drinks damage the kidneys and shock the stomach; it’s best to drink water and all drinks at room temperature.
